Each Kit Includes: a geodesic dome frame, an avian netting or wire mesh cover, a wooden door kit, all required hardware, step-by-step illustrated assembly instructions, free plans to build a wooden 4x4 foundation ring, and free shipping within the US contiguous lower 48 states.

If you have concerns about predators, an avian netting cover stops most avian predators such as hawks.  Applying wire mesh to the bottom row of the dome will protect your animals from coyotes, foxes, dogs, snakes, and most other predators.  You can also add an electric fence wire to the top of the bottom row to stop most climbing predators.  Solar powered electric fence kits are available for remote locations.  If you have bobcats, mountain lions, or other large climbing predators you can choose a fully wire mesh covered aviary for extra protection.

Wire mesh can be added to the bottom row or the entire dome for those animals for whom avian netting would not be suitable.  This can allow the aviary to enclose:

The foundation ring plans provide step-by-step instructions to create and assemble a ring of wooden 4x4s.  The foundation ring creates a flat and level surface on which to build the dome and prevents direct contact between the frame and the soil. The foundation ring will add 3.5" of extra height to the dome.  The required materials are available at most home improvement stores and only basic carpentry tools are required to build it.

The approximate kit weight is 175 lbs. with 2 inch avian netting (180 lbs. shipping weight)
